Week 1: What am I working on?


Hey all thanks for all the follows and interest and purchases, it's really so appreciated.  

I just want to give a quick update about what I'm working on and what's coming next week.  The next update will include some more animations, the ability to change the frame size, and some extra slots and assets for those slots, while working on the saving and loading of characters but that process will take some time with all the various options I need to track.  

I want to also provide a little tutorial for importing your own models from blender, there's a certain hierarchy and naming convention you want to follow.  If you want to jump ahead and are blender savvy you can import the brimmed_hat.glb into blender to get a preview.  In it I use 'shape keys' as well that tie into the proportional editting, you just need to name them either "head", "size", "weight" depending on which slider you are targetting.  I believe this works with timeline animations last I checked with the same principle of naming your actions "head", "size", "weight", or even target the "walk" animation if you want it to sync with the animation.

Thanks again for all the support!  Please use the forums for any bugs you might encounter, and any feedback you want to leave me.  I really try to listen and implement features I think are useful and reasonable.  I really appreciate any help growing this project, so please share with your friends and community : )
